Cathy Chapman

Cathy Chapman is a transplanted Texan and has been in the Sedona-Cottonwood area since 2013. She was a Master Clinical Social Worker in Texas for 35 years. Since her license did not transfer to Arizona, she is now a Life Coach. Her area of expertise is in Mind-Body Psychology, which is what her PhD is in. She addresses work with her clients from the premise that they are a system consisting of thoughts, emotions, actions, and spiritual connection. Learning to manage all aspects of themselves will bring them to healing and wholeness. Spirituality is core to Cathy’s work. She was a Roman Catholic Dominican Sister for twenty years, during which she received an MA in Theology. The paternal side of her family is riddled with alcoholism back generations. She lost her youngest brother to the disease in 2005.
