y name is Chris Brundage. Before I checked myself into Steps to Recovery Homes, I had a severe alcohol addiction. I didn't think there was anyone or anything that could possibly help me. I WAS WRONG!! Steps to Recovery Homes is a huge factor in saving my life and helping me restore relationships with those dear to me. Each and every one of the staff members is amazing in their own unique way. They are some of the most compassionate, dedicated, non-judgmental, and understanding individuals I have ever met. I felt very comfortable and could be honest during my program stay. For the first 30 days, getting used to having roommates and abiding by the program's 'cans' and 'cannots' was pretty tough. Looking back now, however, it was absolutely 110% worth it and exactly what I needed for my recovery and well-being. The Job Development program offered was amazing. I learned so many things about myself, from how to handle my personal and professional life to better manage my awareness of others in relationships and socially. The program also helped me considerably with building a better resume and figuring out the best career path for me. It also played a huge role in my regaining belief in myself and having a positive outlook on life. Attending Steps to Recovery Homes was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I now have the confidence to once again persevere in life and be the best POSITIVE role model I can be to my son. On top of the program helping me get a second chance at a happy, healthy, sober life, I also made some new amazing lifelong friendships. I AM TRULY VERY GRATEFUL!!

wanted to share a little bit on what Steps to Recovery Homes has meant to me. I came here with no real desire to continue my life. I had lost everything that mattered to me to addiction. The biggest loss of all was my self esteem. It is a long road to freedom, one of the biggest things this program has done for me is keep that road shorter.
