Anji Dickson

Anji Dickson, Operations Director at Steps to Recovery Homes and Konnect Wellness Center, is a dedicated leader whose personal recovery journey inspires her work. Now over five years sober, Anji manages Miracles Happen Resale Store and helps clients build fulfilling lives through recovery, life coaching, and job development.

Anji Dickson, the COO – Chief Operating Officer at Steps to Recovery Homes and Konnect Wellness Center, embodies leadership, resilience, creativity, and compassion in everything she does. With a talent for orchestrating seamless operations and designing inspiring spaces, Anji’s mantra, “Harmony with Heart,” reflects her approach to both life and work.

Anji’s journey to recovery is a testament to her strength. After struggling with alcohol and prescription pill addiction for 35 years, she found hope and healing through Steps to Recovery Homes. Anji’s path wasn’t easy—despite owning a successful pest control business in Scottsdale, addiction made it impossible to fully enjoy life. Multiple hospital visits, overdoses, and the loss of family support marked her past, but today, she stands as an example of transformation and hope.

Now over 7 years in recovery, Anji has completely changed her life. Leaving behind her high-powered career, Anji spearheaded the growth of Miracles Happen Resale Store, the nonprofit thrift store, one of the programs that fund and support Steps to Recovery’s rehabilitation programs. She went on to lead the strategic vision, manifestation, purchase and build out of the New Steps to Recovery Homes Healing Center. Anji has also led the organization in opening Konnect Wellness Center their outpatient treatment center, revamping their Job Development program with Emotional Intelligence and opening and operating the Connection Room, the organization’s newest addition, a nature inspired event center.

Anji has brought the organization to a new level and oversees the homes, facilities and many of the day-to-day operations with compliance and focusing on client centered care. Her journey through the Steps to Recovery program helped her rebuild her self-confidence and discover her unique talents, which she now shares with the community.

Anji believes that true recovery goes beyond abstinence; it’s about building a life worth living. Her work with Steps to Recovery integrates life coaching, job development, and personal accountability, helping clients navigate life’s challenges while staying sober. She finds joy in the simple things—spending time outdoors, painting, traveling, admiring art and creating beautiful spaces.

Anji’s story is an inspiration to everyone at Konnect Wellness Center. Her dedication to helping others find their path to recovery is a cornerstone of the organization’s mission.
