Summit Life assists in Job Development
We want to give a huge shout-out to Summit Life for their generous contribution to our Job Development program this last year!
This program provides local social and economic sustainability solutions. Each client created an individualized plan for employment and received extensive training in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, planning and organizing, self-management and technology, resume building, interviewing skills, and emotional intelligence. This allowed our indigent clients with no financial means and/or support to obtain soft and hard job skills, address and overcome barriers to employment, and learn the tools needed to stay clean and sober while succeeding in the workplace.
Given the 51 clients we have served in the last 12 months, 61% of our clients obtained a job, 76% of our graduates obtained a job, and 72% of our clients who obtained a job retained it.
We could never have achieved such great results without the help of funding from organizations like Summit Life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
